Credentialing is often managed as a document process while work allocation happens elsewhere. Connecting the two turns eligibility into a live clinical safeguard.

Eligibility changes by context

A radiologist may be licensed in a state or country but not privileged for every facility, modality or procedure. Availability alone does not make a reader eligible for a study.

Use credentials as operational data

Validated licences, privileges and effective dates should inform the worklist before assignment. Upcoming expiries should trigger action early enough to protect coverage.

  • Block assignments that fall outside confirmed privileges
  • Warn when future schedules depend on expiring credentials
  • Record the eligibility evidence used at assignment time
  • Escalate gaps to accountable credentialing owners

Design for exceptions

Not every source record will be complete. The workflow needs visible exceptions, authorized review and traceable resolution rather than silent assumptions.
